Mask in Lausanne, Switzerland

This interesting sculpture can be found outside of a main shopping district in Lausanne, Switzerland. The piece is an interesting rendition on a head found in Easter Island for multiple reasons: the back of the figure's head is carved out so any symbolic value is eradicated, the actual form of the head is much more feminine than other heads found on Easter Island. The artist is unknown (citation needed).
