Students killed in Resistance at the Jardin du Luxembourg, Paris

Situated in the Luxembourg Gardens in Paris,  a monument, erected in 1956, pays tribute to the dead students in the Resistance. The sculptor Gaston Watkin Clotaire was inspired by the Song of the Partisans. The monument is the symbol of unity and the saving sacrifice of youth.
