Male Figure 3 at the Quai Branly museum, Paris

The sculpture here is known as a masculine behu lawolo figure and these are usually impressive stone statues carved in honour of ancestors and as a marker of remembrance. It may have been interred as a symbol of masculinity, wealth and status. It is now on display at the Quai Branly museum and was scanned for us by a volunteer using roughly 50 photographs.
