MR 68 (No. 483) Credit Originally from the Borghese collection, purchased by the Louvre in 1807. The body of this sculpture is the only surviving part of the original sculpture. Known by others of the same type commissioned by Emperor Augustus for his wife, the shape of this sculpture's body tells us that it would have been used for worship.
