3D modely ARTLouis XV as Jupiter at The Louvre, ParisThis is a marble sculpture, created by Nicolas Coustou (Lyon, 1658 - Paris, 1733) and completed in 1731. It depicts Louis XV (1710-1744) as Jupiter. The artwork, with its 'twin' representing Marie Leszczynska (also uploaded on MyMiniFactory and Scan The World), is a commission by the general director of the Royal Buildins, the duke of Antin; it was commisioned in 1725 to decorate the parks and gardens of his chateau in Petit-Bourg. The two statues were integrated into the royal domain of Versailles after the death of the duke. One can recognise to the side of these monarchs the attributes of the Greek king and queen of the gods: the eagle of Jupiter and the peacock of Junon. náhodný výběr modelů
