Bulkhead in Canterbury, United Kingdom

Bulkhead (or Mask, named by the artist) is a colossal scale fragment of a face or mask made by Rick Kirby. It was completed and installed by Canterbury's Marlowe Theatre from 2003 until the building was demolished in 2009. It was installed in the city of Canterbury as part of a sculpture festival called Blok. It was so popular that the city's council bought it and had it installed by the old theatre's forecourt.
