3D modely ARTSpout and bridge vessel in the shape of a man at The British Museum, LondonThe vessel represents a man holding an offering bowl in his right hand. His face is intricately carved and his body painted with a traditional cape and head wrap. Human figures, both male and female, are either painted around Nasca vessels or modelled into a head or full figurine. The figures depicted are associated with: substitence activities, where they are holding argicultural products and tools used in farming, fushing or hunting; with war scenes, where they hold weapons such as darts, maces, spears and trophy heads; and with music, where they play instruments such as pan pipes, drums and rattles. Effigy vessels representing human figures appeared in the first century AD.
